This is live fire training, and seats are limited. The dates are March 20th, May 15th, June 5th, & Sept. 18th, 2007 from 1830hrs – 2130hrs at Harris Fire-Rescue St#2 (SR 23 & Elm). FIRE INVESTIGATOR I TRAINING PROGRAM South Haven FD in cooperations with the Porter County Fire Investigation Strike Team will be conducting the N.F.P.A. FIRE INVESTIGATOR I TRAINING PROGRAM Classes begin on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 08:00 and will run each Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 a.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m. until October 28, 2007. Cost of the course is $40.00 for members of the Porter County Fire Association and $90.00 for all others. The class is limited to 25 students, and registration is on a first come-first served basis. The course fee is due at the time of registration unless payment is by department P.O., and no refunds will be given unless cancellation is received a minimum of 10 days before the first class. Final date for registration is August 25, 2007 This training opportunity is limited to active fire and law enforcement personnel.
