Applying For
Membership
- Applicants must reside in Porter County and be at least 21 years of age and a valid Indiana Drivers License. - Applicants must provide a medical statement from a licensed medical doctor that the applicant has no known medical problems or conditions that would prohibit the applicant from performing work associated with responding to chemical emergencies as a member of the Porter County Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team. - Applicants must be able to pass a respirtory fit test. - Applications may be obtained from the Porter County Environmental Department.
